PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — "Political Power: Stormy Daniels" is the lastest graphic novel from Philly-based artist Joseph Paradise.

He says the alleged affair between Daniels and President Donald Trump that's been polarizing to so many triggered his creative juices. Writing and drawing the book was something he felt needed to be done.

Paradise says he did not talk to any of the principals featured in the book, but he did a lot of online research and got information that just about anyone could access.

"There is plenty of material out there," he said. "The In Touch magazine interview was crucial to the book, because she basically said everything that happened."

Paradise says the book, which is getting a lot of attention, even found its way to hands of its heroine.

"I saw an article that Ms. Daniels herself is not happy that it's out there. So, oh well. So much for me getting an autographed copy," he said.

The book is getting mixed reviews, Paradise says.

"A lot of people think it's awesome. A lot of people completely hate it. Twitter responses have been fantastic. It's been everything from raging conservatives to humorless liberals," he said.

The digital edition of "Political Power: Stormy Daniels" is currently available online to download as an e-book.
