PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Music provides the emotional punctuation to movies, and the Philly Pops are celebrating Hollywood with a special show.

The theme from Indiana Jones is one of the many unmistakable sounds of Hollywood you can hear performed live.

"All the greatest soundtracks of all time like something from the Avengers, from Pirates of the Caribbean, from Black Panther," will also be featured, explained Philly Pops' Austin Berner.

Dave DiValentino, who plays the trumpet, says he can't wait to bring these songs to life on stage.

"It just makes you feel good. You're picturing the movie in your head, and people in the audience are picturing the movie as well, and sometimes the movie is even playing behind you at some of these shows. It's so much fun," he said.

There are three shows scheduled for Sept. 27, 28, and 29 at the Kimmel Center.
