PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Former First Lady Michelle Obama's book tour stops in Philadelphia Thursday night and a member of the legendary Roots crew has created an epic playlist in her honor.
Questlove of the Roots has curated the soundtrack for Michelle Obama's 10 city "Becoming" book tour.
"The Michelle Obama Musiaqualogy" is divided into three volumes and spans from 1964, the year she was born, to 2018.

The comprehensive collection features songs from Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan, Prince, Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce and more.
Questlove made sure Philly was well represented, featuring songs by LaBelle, Jill Scott, Phillis Hyman, Res, Vivian Green, Bilal and MFSB.

From listening to Stevie Wonder and @earthwindandfire growing up to @Beyonce and @JanelleMonae during my time in the White House, music has always been a defining part of who I've become. Thanks to my friend @Questlove for curating these amazing playlists! Check them out on @spotify and @pandora. #IAmBecoming

If you don't get a chance to catch her on tour, "The Michelle Obama Musiaqualogy" is streaming now on Spotify and Pandora on the Questlove station.
Questlove recommends listening to Volume 1 and 2 in order but shuffling is best for Volume 3.
