PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted two teenage girls in separate incidents, who were getting off the same bus route in Northeast Philly.

Both assaults occurred along Levick Street.

On Oct. 15, an 18-year-old woman was getting off a Route 14 bus near Bustleton Avenue just after midnight when a man came up behind her and pulled her into a nearby driveway on the 1200 block of Elbridge Street. He sexually assaulted her, stole her cellphone and ran away.

On Sunday night, authorities believe the same man sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl who had also gotten off the Route 14 bus at the same location around 10:30. This time, he yanked the victim’s jacket above her head and scolded her not to make noise.

He then pulled her into a nearby alleyway, where he assaulted her. He also stole her phone and fled the scene.

The man is described to be 5 feet, 8 inches tall and has a heavier build. Authorities believe he is between 20 and 25 years old.
