PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police say they have arrested a suspect in the attempted daytime abductions of three women in the Francisville neighborhood over the past few days.

Authorities say 36-year-old Shaun Lloyd of the 1500 block of Swain Street was arrested Wednesday nigh tin the 6900 block of Woodland Avenue in West Philadelphia by highway patrol officers.

Police had widely circulated Lloyd's image, captured on doorbell or neighborhood surveillance cameras.

Special Victims Unit detectives also monitored the area of 15th and Brown streets.

Lloyd is charged with attempted kidnapping and related offenses.

A fourth woman came forward Wednesday claiming the same man touched her inappropriately, but did not attempt to drag her off as he did the others.

Police say Lloyd used to live in the neighborhood where the attempted abductions occurred.
