PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death in front of a North Philadelphia home overnight Wednesday.

Police say the man's body was found lying on the front steps of the home on Stillman Street around 1:30 a.m.

The victim had been stabbed in the neck. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the man was housesitting the home, and two young children were inside when this happened. Now investigators are trying to piece together what took place leading up to that man's death.
