CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Camden say they’re tracking down some people going around town firing off a paintball gun at random.

There have been at least two incidents since Sunday.

The first was in the early morning on Seventh Street near Market Street downtown. Two suspects approached a man walking down the street and fired paintball shots at him.

The other happened on Wednesday morning when several men in a car fired on two locations along Broadway at Jackson Street and later a block away near Everett Street.

They were seen in a green, four door Chevy Lumina with New Jersey plates W18 LRU. No injuries were reported, and police sources say they know who they’re looking for and arrests are expected shortly.

Meanwhile, police in Camden would like to hear from anyone who may know of any other paintball gun incidents like this.
