PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are searching for a man they say is attempting to lure boys near gas stations in and around North and Northwest Philadelphia. They believe it's the same person from a few years ago.

The latest incident happened on Sunday at a station on Hunting Park Avenue near Allegheny Avenue, when a young man walking to grab food says a man driving a silver sedan asked the young man to help him pump gas for a few bucks.

The victim accepted, but the man then asked to go to another station for a better price, so the victim hopped in his car. The driver then showed him porn and assaulted the victim.

"There's an individual that's riding around and he's targeting young males who are pumping gas at gas stations, you know how a lot of kids pump to make a couple of dollars," said Capt. Sekou Kinebrew.

Kinebrew says four other incidents happened just like this in 2017.

"What he does is he lures them into his vehicle and then he does something of a sexual nature, either exposing them to pornographic materials or exposing himself, things like that. Things that are horrifying and of course illegal," Kinebrew said.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the car, which police believe may be a silver or gray Dodge Avenger.

He is described to be in his 30s, with exceptionally crooked teeth with exceptionally crooked teeth

They are asking the public to call or text their tip line at 215-686-TIPS.
