CAMDEN, NJ. (KYW Newsradio) -- Authorities have announced that one of the three suspects wanted in the attempted murder of two New Jersey detectives has been captured.

In a statement, Cheif Scott Thomson had this to say, “Tonight with the help of our law enforcement partners and the community we have arrested Juan Figueroa without incident in Gloucester City, NJ."

Figueroa was wanted along with 19-year-old Alexander DeJesus and 26-year-old Ammar Hall in the August 7 shooting near Broadway and Mount Vernon Streets.

"We continue to close in on Ammar Hall and Alexander Dejesus who are still considered armed and dangerous," Thomson said. "We encourage both suspects to turn themselves in peacefully."

Authorites say the suspects pulled up in van near two undercover Camden County detectives in an unmarked vehicle and opened fire. Officials say, although 25 shots were fired in total, the detectives' injuries were minor.

Figueroa, along with the other suspects, have been charged with Criminal Attempt Murder, Aggravated Assault and Weapons Offenses.

"The $60,000 reward remains," Thomson said. "Anyone who has any information about their whereabouts please call us at (856) 757-7042.”
