NORTH PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have issued a warrant for a man they say shot and killed a young North Philadelphia woman this week.

Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding him.

Police say 21-year-old Khaleem Martin is the man who fired a bullet into the head of 25-year-old Amber Jackson Wednesday evening.

Officers who responded to a call about a shooting in the 1500 block of Oakdale Street found Jackson on the second floor. She was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police say Martin, whose last known address was on Fairhill Street near Dauphin Street, is armed and dangerous.

The suspect is 6 feet, 2 inches, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos under and between his eyebrows.

There's a $20,000 reward for tips leading to Martin's arrest and conviction. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.
