PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police have released footage of a robbery-turned-murder inside a popular bar in Germantown Thursday morning.

The video shows a man with a goatee and a shaved haircut — dressed in black pants and T-shirt, with a long-sleeve, white shirt underneath — walking into the Delmar Bar and Lounge along Chelten Avenue near Wayne Avenue just after 2 a.m.

Surveillance video shows the man entering the bar while on a cellphone. He waits until everyone leaves, then the video cuts to the gunman raising his firearm and shooting at someone.

Authorities say he "intentionally fires" at a 58-year-old barback, takes a few hundred dollars, then leaves.

The victim was shot in the chest and later died.

As with every homicide, there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
