PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are searching for a man who has been seen on video grabbing and attempting to abduct three women in North Philadelphia this past Sunday.

They released video on Tuesday of the man they say brazenly targeted three women as they walked down N. 15th Street in Francisville between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

"He does it in broad daylight," Capt. Mark Burgmann of the Special Victim's Unit said. "He doesn’t seem to care."

Burgmann said that they were already investigating one attack when the videos surfaced. They were captured on a doorbell camera and other surveillance footage.

The videos show a man, described as a 5' 8", medium build.

"He's obviously a predator," Burgmann said. "He's lying in wait. He's just waiting for each victim to come by and two of them are five minutes apart."

All three woman were able to escape. However, the two other victims have not come forward to formally report the attacks.

Burgmann says they hold the key to bringing the man in.

"It's so important that we have these victims come forward, and any witnesses come forward, so it doesn't continue to happen and we can get this guy off the street," Burgmann said.

Police are also asking anyone who knows the suspect to contact them. They also ask anyone who knows the victims to call 911.
