Police seek public's help after hit-and-run leaves 17-year-old dead in NE Philly

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help to find a car believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that left a teenage dead.

Investigators say they are looking for a 2007-2008 Chevy Impala or Malibu. The car is missing the driver's rear-view mirror and also has damage to the left side headlight, according to police.

That's the vehicle police say struck and later killed a 17-year-old boy along the Roosevelt Boulevard in Rhawnhurst, early this morning.

Anyone with information on that 2007-2008 Chevy Impala or Malibu with a missing rear-view mirror and damage to the left side headlight is asked to call 911.
