Police: Shootout inside Frankford home leaves 3 men dead
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police say they are investigating what has now been officially deemed a triple homicide in the Frankford section of the city.
Authorities say a 13-year-old boy called 911, just after 8 p.m., after gunfire broke out inside of a home along the 5100 block of Saul Street.
“He was able to escape the home prior to police arrival,” said Police Commissioner Richard Ross. “But he was inside and he heard all of this go down.”
At a press conference Friday, Captain John Ryan said 31-year-old Chris Young was at the home with the intent to rob the residence.

According to police, when officers arrived on the scene they found Young with money, powdered cocaine, armed and bleeding on the sidewalk.
Ryan says there was some sort of drug deal taking place and Young opened fire. Officials say a shootout would then follow leaving 31-year-old Terrance Gaddy, a resident of the home, and 30-year-old Juan Rodriguez dead.
Two woman and baby were also inside of home at the time of the shooting, Ryan says, but thankfully they were not injured.
