PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Atlantic City Electric has more than 1,700 customers without power Monday morning in the Hammonton area of South Jersey.

The outage was first reported shortly before 10 a.m. Utility crews are responding to identify the trouble location. Officials say they hope to have all power restored by about noon.

Meanwhile, PECO has some 500 customers without service, as power interruptions linger from overnight storms.

The outages are scattered throughout PECO's five-county Philadelphia region.
