PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have released more details about the murder of a man in Holmesburg.

Investigators say Orlando Martinez, a real estate agent, was sitting in his Honda Accord on Oakmont Street near Jackson Street late Tuesday morning, getting ready to show a house. But he never made it out of the vehicle. Homicide Captain John Ryan says someone in the car, who police believe Martinez knew, shot him in the head, and he believes Martinez  knew his attacker.

"Nothing was taken from him," Ryan said. "It wasn't a robbery."

When Martinez didn't return to his Westfield, N.J., home that night, his wife reported him missing. A passerby found him the next day inside his locked vehicle and called police.

"They made entry to the car, and Mr. Martinez was barely alive. He was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale where he was pronounced (dead)," Ryan said.

Investigators are questioning neighbors and following other leads as they search for the killer, but Ryan says the leads are thin at this point.
