PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Roosevelt Boulevard has been shut down in both directions for much of Tuesday morning because of an overturned tractor trailer. And all traffic is being forced off the Boulevard between 9th Street and the Schuylkill Expressway.

The tractor trailer was travelling southbound when it lost control, hit the median and flipped over around 5:30 a.m. It ended up on top of the median, sticking into part of the northbound lanes. Two other cars were involved. One is crumpled up, with a door torn off.

Authorities say four people were injured and rushed to area hospitals, according to CBS 3. A few people involved in the crash were walknig around afterward, including the driver of the truck, which toppled over on teh driver's side.

There is a fuel spill all across the southbound lanes, and traffic is closed in both directions while crews clean that up.
