PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Federal authorities are looking for a man they believe is behind five Philadelphia bank robberies in less than a month.

Local FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department said the suspect first struck on April 25 at a bank on Walnut Street. He struck again three days later at a bank on Chestnut Street.

Authorities said he used a handgun in each of those robberies.

The man also had a goatee, which he shaved off before striking again 10 days later at a bank on Market Street.

Another six days after that, the suspect hit a bank on Market Street, and police believe this same person hit another bank on South 40th Street.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
