Bucks County shelter-in-place order lifted; gas leak contained

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Bucks County shelter-in-place order was lifted Monday morning after a gas leak at a chemical facility.

Bucks officials confirmed that fluorine gas was leaking from a the Airgas building at 6117 Easton Road. Residents living within a half-mile radius of the facility were told to shelter in place, according to the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Department. 

Fire crews and haz mat responders on the scene said the leak was inder control. No injuries were reported.
