PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- The Philadelphia 76ers' season is over, but their future is as bright as ever.

According to PhillyVoice.com's Kyle Neubeck, after Wednesday night's eliminating semifinals loss, Ben Simmons showed both of his hands to Joel Embiid and said, "There's going to be a lot of rings."

"Me and Ben, we have a lot of room to grow," Embiid said after the game. "I was thinking about it, just looking at KD and Westbrook, what they did the first season together, I think they only won 28 games or something like that. Looking at what we did, we got a bright future."

Embiid finished with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks in the Game 5 loss. Simmons had 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

The 24-year-old center and the 21-year-old point guard, as Simmons eluded to, are just getting started.
