PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — If you are traveling out of Philadelphia International Airport over this holiday season, there is a well kept secret you might want to know about.

They are called Minute Suites, and 13 of them are located in the Terminal A-B Connector.

Minute Suites Vice President Chris Glass says the 7-by-8-foot rooms are like mini hotel suites and have been open at the airport since 2011.

"We stay pretty well booked all year round. Several different types of customers, whether it be airline employees or travelers, business travelers, leisure travelers, nursing mothers coming in," he said.

Glass says the room can sleep two comfortably, or a family of four.

What's in it?

"Television, free direct TV, free Netflix, Wifi, all offered complimentary in there. Kind of a home away from home inside the airport just to get you out of the hustle and bustle of the airport. Give you a chance to get some rest and relaxation before you hop on your flight," he explained.

And he says they are cleaned regularly.

"After every guest leaves, they do get cleaned. And then a few times a year, we go through an extremely intensive deep clean, and usually it's in real big down times when we don't see a lot of passengers travel," he said.

Rooms are $42 a night, or you can get an overnight for $155.
