South Jersey high school football coach accused of having sex with student is arrested

A football coach at a high school in South Jersey has been arrested. The Burlington County Prosecutors Office say he had sex with a student.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A football coach at a high school in South Jersey has been arrested. The Burlington County Prosecutors Office say he had sex with a student. 

Mark Kinney, 31, of Clementon, has been charged with sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct.

Authorities say Kinney, who is an assistant football coach at Maple Shade High School, had sex with a female student.

They say this happened during the current school year, inside the high school.

The age of the victim and other details about the incident are not being released.

Aside from coaching, Kinney does other work at the school too.
