PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — About 100 Jefferson University students opened up a pop-up fashion boutique on it's East Falls Campus to help raise money to support cancer patients.
The students in the Fashion Merchandising and Management Program were divided into groups, with each representing a different country.
"My country is Spain and we have hand-printed bags," said freshman Emma McCoy. "All of the bags are made by an outside source and then we printed on them with handmade prints made by our director of production. So our one bag features a red rose print with a black rose print overlay."
Students are raising thousands of dollars to support ChemoClothes, a nonprofit in Marlton, New Jersey that provides financial support to families affected by cancer.
