PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - If you like to indulge in a holiday cocktail or maybe a winter beer this time of year, Philadelphia's newest booze festival may be just what you're looking for.

Appropriately named based on all the cold weather we've been dealing with in Philadelphia lately, the 'Winter Warmup' Craft Beer & Festive Cocktail Celebration is coming to town November 30 and December 1.

"There's a bunch of different things out there," explained organizer Ray Sheehan, "whether you're into a craft beer that might be a little heavier this time of year, then there's some really nice, infused cocktails that you might be used to like a hot chocolate with a little bourbon or whiskey."

There will be eggnog samples, ciders and what's sure to be a popular stop at the festival.

"We're actually creating a build-your-own hot toddy bar with all these different flavored whiskeys," said Sheehan.

Many of the drinks you'll find at this event aren't even available for purchase yet, so think of this as your sneak peek.

"Thirty different craft beers, all the inspired winter cocktails, the band, the DJ, axe throwing, food trucks," added Sheehan. "It really has something for everyone."

The festival will take over the 23rd Street Armory, "which will be fully decorated in a nice, festive theme," said Sheehan.

There are three different sessions to choose from. You can learn more here.
