PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphians have created their own scavenger hunt, of sorts, on social media in which a celebrity in town working on a television series is the ultimate find.

An upcoming AMC series called “Dispatches from Elsewhere,” is shooting in Philadelphia and one of its stars André Benjamin, aka André 3000 from the hip hop group OutKast, has been spotted around town.

From Center City to Old City Andre has recently been spotted in photos with fans and just wondering about town with a flute in hand.

Attorney Samantha Williams and her friend they too ran into 3000 in Rittenhouse Square, where they snagged a selfie with the star.

"I saw him again that same night, so after we took the picture with him,” she tells KYW Newsradio. “We talked to him for a bit. I walked my friend to her parking spot and when I was walking home I ran into him again on the street. I just said, ‘Hi Andre’ and he said, ‘Hi girl’ and he kept it moving."
