PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Philadelphia Wings will be on the road tomorrow night, visiting the Buffalo Bandits.

The expansion Wings are 0-4 so far in National Lacrosse League action. Most recently, this past Saturday, they lost a hard-fought battle with the undefeated Georgia Swarm at the Center, 13-11.

"We were right there with them," head coach Paul Day said. "We had a goal called back (on a moving pick) to tie it 11-11 on the power play, momentum was going our way. We had two goals called back that game and really it's a game of inches."

While they are winless, the Wings have been in every game, hence a goal differential of just -9 for an 0-4 team.

"We're learning every week," Day said. "But also, we expect to compete, and we expect to have an opportunity to win every night we step on the floor."

The Wings opened the season against this Buffalo (3-1) team at the Center back on Dec. 15, dropping a 17-15 decision. Day said the team needs to avoid penalties to have more success this time around.

"One thing we have to do against Buffalo is really stay out of the penalty box," he said. "They had four (goals)on the power play that night against us, they've got one of the best power plays in the league."

Saturday's game in Buffalo gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
