PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There will be all kinds of hops at the Philadelphia Zoo this weekend, from the animated animals to the sudsy brews.

The Philadelphia Zoo will be closing at 3 p.m. Saturday to get ready for one of its annual fundraisers later that evening.

Tickets are still available for the Zoo's Summer Ale Festival.

Guests — 21 and older, of course — can choose from 150 craft beers to sip on while roaming around the zoo's grounds.

"Proceeds benefit our conservation efforts at the zoo," said Dana Lombardo, zoo director of communications. "People come do beer samplings, meet brewers, buy food from really cool food trucks and just kind of enjoy the animals. It's a great night."

There will be meet and greets with some of the animals and live music, too.

The festival takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. There will be a free shuttle bus service to and from 30th and Market streets.
