ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — One of Atlantic City's newest attractions is getting in on the sports betting game.

Ocean Resort Casino — the former Revel property that's expected to open June 28 — has announced it's partnering with sports bookie William Hill.

Wagering will take place in a 7,500-square-foot area "in the heart of Ocean's gaming floor," according to a statement.

It will include a bar as well as a video wall displaying sporting events and live betting odds. Gamblers can bet on a number of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, hockey, tennis, soccer and more.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City — also slated for a June 28 opening — as well as Borgata are among the other resorts planning to offer sports booking.

The U.S. Supreme Court earlier this month struck down the federal ban on sports betting. New Jersey lawmakers are expected to give legislative approval to sports betting next week.
