PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Calling all beer lovers — actually, bear lovers.

Well, both.

If you like animals and beer, the Philadelphia Zoo is hosting a fundraiser Saturday from 5 to 8:30 p.m. for a 21-and-over crowd.

Tickets are still available for OktoBEARfest, a beer festival featuring more than 100 brews from nearly 50 breweries.

There will be food for sale from 10 food trucks, live music, games, and, of course, the animals will be there to greet you as you enjoy samples of beers and ciders.

"Of course like with any other event from the zoo, the proceeds go to support our zoo's mission of our conservation and education efforts and taking care of our fabulous animals," said Kristen Waldren, zoo director of strategic initiatives.

The event offers complimentary shuttle buses from 30th Street Station.

Tickets will not be available at the gate on Saturday night. You can buy them in advance for $55, or $65 if you want an hour head start. A non-drinker ticket is only $35.
