PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Parks and Recreation has announced expanded curfews for its area parks.
Effective Dec. 1 and through March 31, 2019, the Wissahickon Valley, East and West Fairmount Park, Cobbs Creek Park, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park, Tacony Creek Park, and Pennypack Park areas will close at 8 p.m. through 6 a.m.
All trails, parking lots, and other park areas will be closed during those times to ensure the public's safety as "deer control activities" are being conducted.
