PHOENIX (KYW Newsradio) — The Phillies will continue their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night out in Phoenix.

The Phillies (63-49) opened this three-game series with a gut-wrenching loss Monday night, dropping a 3-2 14-inning decision. The Phils led 2-0 heading to the bottom of the ninth, but the Diamondbacks (63-51) would score twice off Seranthony Dominguez to tie it. David Peralta's walk-off home run in the 14th won it for Arizona.

Nick Pivetta will get the start on the mound for the Phillies Tuesday night. The right-hander is 6-9 with a 4.75 ERA. He got a no-decision in his last start, but pitched well, allowing just two runs in six innings. His only previous start against Arizona came last year, and it did not go well as he allowed six runs on seven hits in just 2 2/3 innings of a 6-1 loss.

Arizona will counter on the mound with veteran right-hander Zack Greinke, who is 12-6 with a 2.96 ERA. In 12 career appearances (11 starts) against the Phillies, Greinke is 8-2 with a 2.90 ERA.

The Phillies are just 1-3 against Arizona this season.
