PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Phillies are back home to open a three-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies have won their last two series. This past weekend, they won two of three in Milwaukee, wrapping up the series with a wild 10-9 victory over the Brewers Sunday.

Rhys Hoskins, Maikel Franco and Odubel Herrera all homered, and the Phillies were able to withstand a four-run Milwaukee ninth inning to grab the win.

Nick Pivetta will get the start on the mound in the series opener against the Cardinals. Pivetta is 4-6 this season with a 4.25 ERA.

June has been rough for the right-hander. In three starts this month, he has gone 0-3 with an ERA of 8.36.

The Cardinals will counter on the mound with right-hander Miles Mikolas. He is 7-2 with a 2.43 ERA.

The Phillies and Cardinals played a four-game series in St. Louis back in May. The two teams split that series.

Both teams are 37-32 on the season.
