PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- There are hundreds of job openings at the Philadelphia International Airport. The Liacouras Center on the Temple University campus in North Philadelphia hosted a job fair to help fill those vacancies.

Applicants were able to have their resumes reviewed and to receive interview tips before meeting with representatives from more than 50 businesses and government agencies.

Airlines, retailers, restaurants, hotels and public safety agencies were among the employers represented.

Student Cindy Kroeum was at the center to find out what was there.

"I am graduating high school soon. So anything to get me kick start off," Kroeum said. She added that she had visited the Marriott and Mac Cosmetics tables "because I'm already doing retail."

There are more than 400 part-time and full-time positions available.

Airport CEO Chellie Cameron said, "We have more than 20,000 badge holders at the airport, so if you think about it, we have constant turnover. We are always hiring. This is just one time a year that we can actually showcase the airport as a great place to work."

If you missed the fair you can still apply. The airport sponsors an online job portal.
