PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — People usually fall within one of two categories on Thanksgiving: enthusiastic, surrounded by family and friends, making a home-cooked meal; or enraged, surrounded by family and friends, making a home-cooked meal.

If cooking is not your strong suit but you are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner this year, there's still time to plan another dinner route without breaking the bank.

Grocery stores like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods are providing the pre-cooked November fare, but plenty of local restaurants and chain eateries also offer catered, pre-made Thanksgiving dinners or a la carte meals, which come either table- or oven-ready.

Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal during the holidays sounds like a schlep, but you can order your turkey ahead of time and even get it delivered to you.

The Original Turkey in Reading Terminal is currently taking holiday orders, which can be picked up until 4 p.m. on Nov. 21. It offers an array of mega meals or a la carte classic options. You can pay for sliced turkey by the pound or order a whole feast for 12 people.
