PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Even people who don't know a lick of Spanish can probably do a decent 'Despacito.' You couldn't get away from the smash Luis Fonsi-Daddy Yankee-Justin Bieber hit last beach season (and we're sorry to put it back into your head). So what's this year's Song of the Summer going to be?

Cardi B could be in contention for the crown with 'I Like It.'

"This song is so much fun," says Bennett, air personality and assistant program director at Philly's 96.5 TDY. "You can dance to it. It has everything you want in a summer song."

Bright. Upbeat. Like "One Kiss" by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa.

Bennett spins these hits on KYW's sister station, so he knows the recipe for a summer smash.

"That's what we're looking for -- a song that makes you want to quit your job and just live on the beach," he says.

Drake is in the mix with a couple tracks, including "Nice For What."

"Let's face it -- you can't have summer without Drake," Bennett jokes (kinda). "Summer is canceled if Drake is on hiatus."

"Then you've got Ariana Grande," he says. "'No Tears Left to Cry' is a great summer pop song."

How about a singer-songwriter from Down Under?

"I love Vance Joy's 'Saturday Sun,'" Bennett says. "It's bright; it's happy."

Or "2002," a homage of sorts by Anne-Marie to tunes from that time.

And, Bennett reminds us, there's always the chance someone could pull a Beyoncé.

"She changed the game a few years ago when she released that surprise album," he says. "Beyoncé and Jay-Z are going on tour together, so maybe they'll have a song out. You never know when one of your favorite artists is going to come out of nowhere and bam! Release a song, everyone loves it, and it's the song of the summer."
