PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) - Drinking beer at Citizens Bank Park is nothing new, but wine and cocktails too?

You'll have the opportunity to enjoy all three on May 19th when the All-Star Craft Beer, Wine, and Cocktail Festival invades the Phillies home turf.

"We literally take over Citizens Bank Park and it's a day to come out and really get intimate with some amazing brands: craft beer, wine and some delicious cocktails," said organizer Ray Sheehan.

There will be over 300 samples available, both inside the ballpark, and new this year, outside as well.

"Most of our vendors are on the concourse level or outside Citizens Bank Park," said Sheehan, "so you would walk around the concourse level and sample all these amazing products or just sit in the stands, we have access to the entire ballpark."

Meaning drinking is just part of the fun.

"You have access to the field, so this could be a once and a lifetime opportunity for people to walk the bases or take a selfie in the dugout," said Sheehan. "So it's an opportunity to really get on the field where the players are actually playing when they are normally there."

If that's not enough to entice baseball fans thinking about attending...

"Every ticket purchased for this event also comes with two Phillies tickets," added Sheehan.

Proceeds benefit both the Barkann Foundation and Fraternal Order of Police.
