Will Smith reunites with Martin Lawrence to announce 'Bad Boys 3'

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — After 15 years, a pair of bad boys are heading back to the big screen.

Will Smith reunited with Martin Lawrence in an Instagram video to announce that the two will be returning to their roles of Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in "Bad Boys 3."

"It's official, baby!" he shouted.

The West Philly native also shared a throwback picture of the two from the film, assuring audiences Lawrence "won't have a beeper in the new @badboys."

Smith and Lawrence last collaborated during "Bad Boys II" in 2003.

The movie is expected to hit theaters in 2020.
