Antionette Lee
Antionette Lee joined the KYW Newsradio team as a desk assistant in 2017.
The North Carolina native graduated from NC State University in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Shortly afterwards, she accepted a job teaching english as a second language in Shanghai, China. Lee says it was in Asia where she found the courage to pursue her passion for journalism. After a year living abroad, that passion led her to Philadelphia where she completed a M.J. at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communications.
Lee is a member of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists (PABJ), the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and Phi Sigma Pi. When she’s not feeding her adoration for travel, music, and culture--you can find her snapping pictures around the city.
