The Coaches versus Cancer BasketBall is an amazing gathering of leaders from Philadelphia’s health care, business and philanthropic communities who come together to raise significant funds for the American Cancer Society. Hosted by Philadelphia’s NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Coaches and their wives, this black-tie evening will feature an elegant dinner, entertainment, spectacular live and silent auctions, and late-night dancing, all in support of this important life-saving cause.

Now in it's 16th year, the BasketBall will honor Richard Vague - Philadelphia business leader and philanthropist who advocates for finding new cures for cancer by supporting innovative research. Through his philanthropic efforts, cancer patients have new treatment options and new hope at finding a cure. We are honored to celebrate Richard and the groundbreaking work he’s propelled in the cancer community
