The Philadelphia Podcast Festival, one of the largest and longest-running podcast festivals in the US, amplifies independent media made in Philly and across the country. Founded in 2013 as a way to highlight Philadelphia’s nascent podcasting scene, Philly Podfest gives a platform to local media creators and provides an opportunity to bring popular podcasts to the city. The 2019 Philly Podfest runs from July 17-28 and features 60 live recordings at five venues.
