The defense lawyer for the man accused of shooting to death a high-ranking police commander's son in FDR Park in South Philadelphia, earlier this month, claims he was "violently beaten, when arrested." As KYW Newsradio's Steve Tawa reports, he made the claim as the defendant's preliminary hearing at the Criminal Justice Center was postponed until late May.
