Newsmaker is Bishop Patricia Davenport, the first African American woman elected Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America., which is 96 percent white.

Finally, changemaker of the week is Bebashi Transition to Hope, a non-profit founded in 1985 to help people of color dealing with HIV and AIDS.
