Philly's version of the World Cup

Attention soccer fans: Philadelphia's version of the World Cup is just around the corner.

The Philadelphia International Unity Cup, presented by Goya, brings together 52 teams, representing 52 countries. From August to October, Philly's neighborhoods unite, compete and celebrate its diverse immigrant communities through soccer — and you can watch the games for free.

Many of the teams feature members that played for a national team or on the collegiate level.

The Unity Cup kicks off Aug. 2.  It's FREE to attend all games.  Matches will take place a various fields throughout the city, including:

The Unity Cup Championship will take place Oct. 12 at Talen Energy Stadium, home of the Philadelphia Union.
